Here I am, slacking again. 04/14/2012
I wanted to post my first photo project from this semester, but I still haven't scanned in my final prints at all. I have some working prints scanned but I don't really want to put those up. In three weeks, I'll have my second (and final) photo project from the semester finished as well. Hopefully I'll have these up and my blog/whole website can get off its feet. Instead of flopping around on the ground. Emily Add Comment Darkroom 02/22/2012
I'm sorry, but I don't have anything to show you today. That's the thing about being in a traditional photo class - you don't have any files, just negatives and prints. I'm currently working on my first project for my photo class. I have shot most of what I need, developed the film and printed six "working" prints in addition to my contact sheets. The completed project will be due in two weeks, and it will consist of 12-15 final prints. The project is "interiors," meant to be interpreted by us. Mine deals with what you put on the interior of your body, through shots of the interior of fruits and vegetables compared to junk food, and the interior of the mouth. That's all you get for now, until I have a chance to finish this project and scan it into the computer! Emily Pinhole Camera Photos 02/10/2012
Now that I've finally scanned and inverted the pinhole photos from last semester, I can post them on my new blog here! I wasn't able to take as many as some people because the organ shot was giving me some trouble. I think this photo was my fourth attempt. I can't remember the exact exposure but I believe it ended up being over ten minutes. And it's STILL underexposed! (Not to mention what you're seeing if after I lightened it up a bit in Photoshop.) There was one more that I have, which is when our whole class did some panorama around the South Oval, but it's not even worth posting because it's so incredibly boring. -Emily P.S. Since the launch of my new, very own domain name, I haven't done much to the site, but now I'm going to slowly start bringing my blog over here. While I'm sure we'll all miss my old photo blog, it's time to have everything under my own name! I haven't yet decided if I'm going to link to the old blog and continue posts on this one, or if I'm going to switch everything over here and get rid of the other one. We'll just have to see! -Emily |
